Jonathan has spent right around two centuries in the world, arriving at the age of 190 of every 2022.

The turtle was given the title of the most seasoned living creature ashore by Guinness World Records (GWR).

As indicated by GWR, beforehand, the most established chelonian was Tu'i Malila, a turtle that lived for around 188 years.

The St Helena Government said shared that he was presently visually impaired.

"His hearing however is brilliant and he cherishes the organization of people and answers well to his vet Joe Hollins' voice as he connects him with a banquet" it added.
